Paul
Battle PA-C has been a physician assistant since 1981. After
graduating with a B.S. in Physiology at U.C. Davis, he attended
Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program.
Over the years he has worked in a variety of specialties
including Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine,
General and Vascular Surgery, but has had his main focus on
orthopaedics since 1995. He has developed Orthopaedic Services
at the Tacoma VA Medical Center and at an HMO in Olympia that
served 50,000 patients.
He is nationally board certified with special recognition
in Primary Care and Surgery.
At Mapleton Hill Orthopaedics, he assists the 4 orthopaedic
surgeons and the physiatrist to treat all facets of musculoskeletal
disease and injury.
He assists the surgeons in major orthopaedic procedures including
shoulder, knee and foot surgeries. In addition to assisting
with sports medicine surgeries, he assists with total hip,
knee and ankle joint replacement and spine surgery.
His
philosophy in providing musculoskeletal care is to help the
patient reach their daily and recreational goals as it relates
to the musculoskeletal system.
Paul is married with two active athletic boys, ages 13 and
11. He enjoys all sports, particularly with his sons. He
personally enjoys skiing, golfing and biking. His hobby is
learning about investment strategies. |
